We were commissioned by Cement Gallery to create an edition of screen prints for David's upcoming 'All You'll Ever Need' solo show at East Gallery - London

The nature of the fine detail meant that the registration had to be meticulously tight. Relying on barely a 1pt black keyline for trapping the other 3 colours in some places - there was no room for error.
We also had to keep the screen open at all times to prevent ink drying and loss of crucial detail.

The beauty of David’s work is the detail, the more you look - the more you see. It is made up of tiny fine intricate motifs and pictograms that are integral to the overall narrative of the piece.

The key to the success of this outcome was getting the colours punchy and vibrant.
For this we used the Sericol-‘Colorjet’ ink system and matched to the artist’s Pantone references.
